This loadframe was developed in collaboration with Cornell, Purdue and UIUC.Max load is 700 lb.Operates in displacement control using a harmonic motor, which can be stepped/controlled at the beamline. Load is recorded with load cell below the sample.Collet grips are standard.Slots are drilled into the loading posts to allow for x-ray and optical sample alignment.This load frame is most commonly used on top of the Aerotech stack in the 1-ID-E hutch.
